This month MIT linQ opened applications for IDEA² Global, an MIT-based international program to help innovators put their medtech ideas on the path to healthcare impact. It builds on IDEA² Madrid, a program of the Madrid–MIT M+Visión Consortium and at Harvard-MIT HST. Please consider sharing this news with your colleagues. Applications are due April 17.
Like the program you remember, IDEA² Global provides unmatched mentoring and connections to biomedical innovators around the world to develop and realize their project ideas. It is especially valuable for trainees, early-stage professionals, and those who have few opportunities in their normal work to participate in innovation projects.
As before, the program is project-based, so people can apply as individuals or as teams. Engineers, scientists, clinicians, and entrepreneurs are all welcome. Projects also range across technologies and disease/injury areas.

laboration of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the MVision Foundation to develop and share new research practices that change the biomedical innovation paradigm.
